Yes, it's that time of year again when each country looks in their cultural gutters to see what they can infect our ears with this year.
Seriously, UKIP needs a policy change: Sod leaving Europe, just stop buying our way into Eurovision every year to save money. Although when you look it at that way you're suggesting that Eurovision is an expensive way of not being fascist. Probably worth it. Just.

It was a bit of a fail for us, but the crowd there seemed to not like Russia/
ReplyDeleteWe were dire. I'm sure that £7 million could be spent on something better than that crap. It could be used to reduce tuition fees for example!
ReplyDeleteWhy pay £7 million a year to bribe our way straight through to the final when we could go some way to funding university education?
I agree I mean that is such a big waste of money, when it could be used for others things. Maybe we shouldn't go for it next year.
